The doctors at Vacaville Optometric Vision Center are very proud of our friendly and competent staff.

As you walk in, you will be met by Mary, Amanda or Michelle.  Mary has worked at VOVC since April of 1989 and enjoys seeing our patients return year after year.  Our front office staff will give you a warm welcome, and will perform computerized assisted vision testing before your visit with Dr. Carr or Dr. Lu.

If you need to update your eyewear, our highly trained optometric technicians (Brandi and Janice), will help you choose lenses best suited for your prescription and frames to enhance your personality. Our lab uses high quality lens materials and coatings to help you see and look your best. We feature several basic frame lines as well as designer frame lines including Coach, CK, Michael Kors, bebe, Ray Ban, Nike, Kate Spade and Bobbi Brown. Brandi, a registered Optician, has been helping patients in our office since 2000. Janice, with more than 10 years' experience, loves to help patients. Our technicians will custom fit your eyewear for optimum comfort.

Our Office Manager, Janet has been with the practice since 1983. You may find her at the front desk one day and in the lab another. She says it's the patients, doctors and staff that have kept her working here for so long. "It's a family atmosphere...you will not find another practice with such kind-hearted, devoted doctors and staff".

Our support staff include Shalena and Simon. Shalena will prepare records, obtain insurance authorizations and has many other responsibilities. Simon helps us in countless ways. There are some people who just have a way of brightening your day - that's Simon. He always comes to work with a smile and a song.
